PWA Try this Use a light source to create a hand shadow on the wall for {LEARNER_FNAME} (e.g. V-sign for creating a rabbit-like shadow). Change the shape of your hands to make animals, birds or other things. Make a simple shadow play with a story or a song. When {LEARNER_FNAME} grows older, invite {OBJ_PRONOUN} to join by creating more hand shadow puppets with {POS_PRONOUN}'s little hands.
PWA Variations
PWA What to look Infants continue to improve control of eye movement and hand-eye coordination skills at 5-8 months, and can notice light, shadow and movement. Can the shadow puppets attract {LEARNER_FNAME}'s attention and make {OBJ_PRONOUN} eye-track the motion?
PWA Why this matters When {LEARNER_FNAME} is enjoying parent's hand-shadow play, {SUBJ_PRONOUN} is training the visual tracking skill, which in turn lays the foundation for developing {POS_PRONOUN}'s concentration skill in the future. UTM-EM-022-MAR-22
