To prepare, find a stuffed animal such as a teddy bear with a removable piece of clothing or decoration, like a hat or a scarf. Say: Your bear is going to tell you to make some moves, but you should ONLY do what he says when he is wearing his scarf.
Make sure the bear has the scarf on and, give {LEARNER_FNAME} instructions to do different actions such as “touch your head”, “jump”, or “spin in a circle”.
Occasionally take the scarf off the bear, in view of {LEARNER_FNAME}, so {OBJ_PRONOUN} can see it’s time to skip the next instruction. Continue switching back and forth until you finish playing. |
