Pick two pieces of fruit – for example, an apple and an orange – and think of a fun move to represent each one. For example, you might assign a sword-slicing action to the orange, and a twist move for the apple. You could also suggest funny sounds that {LEARNER_FNAME} should make during the moves.
Start the game by showing one fruit at a time and hiding the other under a table or behind your back. Switch back and forth randomly between the two pieces of fruit while. {LEARNER_FNAME} performs the moves.
Play for a while, and then swap the rules; slice for the apple, and twist for the orange.
You can play this game again and again with different fruit and dance moves. |
