|
Create a building together using Lego or other blocks, taking turns to place only one brick at a time. You and/or a sibling can play with {LEARNER_FNAME}.
Here’s the twist: when it’s not your turn, you have to freeze like a statue. At the end of each player’s turn, they should put their arms above their head, say "Done!" and then freeze while the next player places a block. Play at least six rounds.
For a fun and fast twist, add in some speed round where you place blocks as quickly as possible. You can also change the rules to allow each player to place two or three bricks at a time, which might make it harder to wait your turn. |

PWA Why this matters
|
Taking turns requires self control and inhibition when children must resist the impulse to keep placing blocks and instead wait for the next person to take their turn. Striking a pose and freezing while it is not their turn helps by giving them something else to focus on.
