PWA Tags Physical Activity;Shapes/ Colors
PWA Try this Begin by going outside with a bottle of bubbles and challenge {LEARNER_FNAME} to pop as many as {SUBJ_PRONOUN} can. The rule is that each player should only pop one bubble and say “pop!” – then it’s the next player’s turn. Whenever there are no bubbles, all players have to freeze like statues until there are more.  Blow a stream of bubbles into the air as all players take it in turns to pop them and then freeze as they wait for more to appear.  Repeat as often as you like.
PWA Variations
PWA What to look How often does {LEARNER_FNAME} try to pop bubbles out of turn? Does {SUBJ_PRONOUN} freeze in between rounds?
PWA Why this matters When surrounded by a stream of bubbles, it’s tempting to want to pop as many as possible. Waiting for a cue before getting to pop just one bubble helps to practice motor inhibition skills and develop self-control. UTM-EM-049-MAR-21
