PWA Try this
|
Choose one of {LEARNER_FNAME}’s favorite board games – Connect 4 or Snakes and Ladders work well for this activity. Play a round or two of the game.
Now, change one of the rules of the game. For example, the new goal of Connect 4 could be to connect five pieces, or to create a square shape with four pieces. For Snakes and Ladders, you could go up the snakes and down the ladders.
Ask {LEARNER_FNAME} to invent a new rule, and play the game again using it. |

PWA What to look
|
This exercise can help develop cognitive flexibility. Pay attention to how {LEARNER_FNAME} adjusts to the new rule: does {SUBJ_PRONOUN} adapt to it easily, or keep trying to use the old ones?
