PWA Try this
Prepare 10 cards and dot stickers in 2 colors that {LEARNER_FNAME} recognizes, such as red and yellow.
Stick a dot sticker on each of the 10 cards (5 red and 5 yellow). Take one card of each color and stick them respectively on a paper bag.
Place the remaining cards with stickers facing up at different places around the room.
Give {LEARNER_FNAME} the paper bag with a red-dot card, ask {OBJ_PRONOUN} to find out all the cards with red-dot and put them inside the bag. Repeat the same for the yellow-dot cards.
Gradually add more colors, shapes, numbers, letters and pictures, or number cards, or even place the cards in not-so-visible places, for more excitement! |
PWA Variations
PWA What to look
Children around 2-3 years old can generally identify 4-8 colors including red, yellow, blue and green. Can {LEARNER_FNAME} complete the hunting mission successfully? |
PWA Why this matters
{LEARNER_FNAME} needs to process the working memory when {SUBJ_PRONOUN} tries to recall and match the color cards for finding all of them out.
