|
Prepare a set of number cards 1-10 and scatter them on the floor.
Say a number and ask {LEARNER_FNAME} to find out that card. Place the card back to the scattered cards on the floor when found. Repeat a few times to warm up.
Welcome to the Number Challenge! Instead of saying the needed number directly, give slightly twisted instructions one by one and let {LEARNER_FNAME} locate the correct number card on the floor:
Number after "9" (i.e.10)
Number before "7" (i.e. 6)- Two numbers before "3"(i.e. 1 and 2)
Set a time limit for the challenge, say 5 minutes, for making the activity even more exciting!
Change the number cards to letter cards if {LEARNER_FNAME} is familiar with the alphabet already. |
