Find a picture of a crown with a simple design. Cut a 15cm-wide strip out of a big drawing paper, long enough to wrap around {LEARNER_FNAME}'s head (with an extra 5cm for taping the ends up). Get ready some color papers also.
Ask {LEARNER_FNAME} to look at the picture, make reference to it and draw:
- a zigzag line along one long edge of the strip for imitating the crown points; and
- different shapes of gem stones on the color papers.
Let {LEARNER_FNAME} cut along the zigzag line and cut out all the gem stones carefully.
Now {SUBJ_PRONOUN} is ready to create {POS_PRONOUN}'s crown! ._Refer the picture again and glue/stick the gem stones onto the strip. Color it to make a similar crown!_.
Stick the ends of the strip together. Help {LEARNER_FNAME} to put on {POS_PRONOUN}'s crown. Say cheese to take a photo!" |
