|
Prepare a box with a lid (about shoebox size) and 10-15 cards. Write a letter of the alphabet on each piece and place them in a pile facedown on the floor.
Ask {LEARNER_FNAME} and {POS_PRONOUN} friends to sit in a circle around the pile of cards.
Parents pick a card facedown, put it into the box and secure the lid. Pass the box to one of the children.
Start the music and ask the children to pass the box to each other around the circle until the music stops. Who holds the box then has to take out the card and identify the letter. Others can help if necessary.
Parents pick another card and repeat from step 3 until all the cards are done." |
